“If Rāma, son of Daśaratha, is truly righteous in soul, steadfast in truth, and unmatched in valor, then—by this arrow—slay the Rāvaṇi (Indrajit).”
"If Dasharatha's son, Sri Rama is righteous, truthful, of unrivalled valour and true to his promise this arrow will kill Indrajith."
Dharma and Satya are invoked as the moral ground of victory: Lakṣmaṇa ties the weapon’s success to Rāma’s righteousness and truthfulness, asserting that ethical integrity underwrites rightful triumph.
Before releasing the divine arrow at Indrajit, Lakṣmaṇa pronounces a conditional invocation centered on Rāma’s dharma and satya.
Rāma’s satyasaṃdhatā (steadfast truth) and dharmātmabhāva (righteous nature), treated as spiritually efficacious realities.
