The Slaying of Indrajit
येनशक्रोमहातेजादानवानजत्प्रभुः ।पुरादेवासुरेयुद्धेवीर्यवान् हरिवाहनः ।।।।
yena śakro mahātejā dānavān ajita-prabhuḥ |
purā devāsure yuddhe vīryavān harivāhanaḥ ||
With this very divine weapon, mighty Śakra—Indra of great splendor, the unconquered lord, valiant and borne by green horses—once defeated the Dānavas in the ancient war between the devas and the asuras.
In the past at the war between Devas and Asuras, a mighty and energetic valiant Lord of Devas who had green horses conquered Danavas (with the same sword).
