इन्द्रजित्-लक्ष्मणयुद्धम् तथा वानरप्रोत्साहनम् (Indrajit–Lakshmana Battle and the Rallying of the Vanaras)
स सम्प्रहारस्तुमुलःसञ्जज्ञेकपिरक्षसाम् ।।।।देवासुराणांक्रुद्धानांयथाभीमोमहास्वनः ।
sa samprahāras tumulaḥ sañjajñe kapirakṣasām |
devāsurāṇāṃ kruddhānāṃ yathā bhīmo mahāsvanaḥ ||
A tumultuous clash then arose between the vānaras and the rākṣasas—fearsome and thunderous, like the ancient battle of enraged devas and asuras.
Fearful and vehement battle took place between enraged Vanaras and Rakshasas making loud clamours like the battle (in the past) between Devas and asuras.
The struggle between dharma and adharma is portrayed as cosmic in scale; the verse frames the war as part of a larger moral order where righteousness must confront destructive power.
The fight between the vānaras and rākṣasas intensifies into a roaring, chaotic melee, likened to mythic deva–asura warfare.
