Shloka 6.85.28

निकुम्भिला-यज्ञविघ्नः — Vibhishana’s Counsel and Lakshmana’s March to Nikumbhila

एवमुक्त्वा स द्युतिमान् वचनंभ्रातुरग्रतः ।स रावणिवधाकाङ्क्षीलक्ष्मणस्त्वरितोययौ ।।6.85.28।।

evam uktvā sa dyutimān vacanaṃ bhrātur agrataḥ |

sa rāvaṇi-vadha-ākāṅkṣī lakṣmaṇas tvarito yayau ||6.85.28||

Having spoken these words before his brother, radiant Lakṣmaṇa—intent on slaying Rāvaṇa’s son—set out at once in haste.

Brilliant Lakshmana, having spoken that way in front of his brother, went speedily desirous of killing Ravana's son.
