इन्द्रजित्-हनूमद्-युद्धं तथा निकुम्भिलायां होमः (Indrajit vs Hanuman; Indrajit’s Nikumbhila rite)
स्कन्धविटपैश्शालैश्शिलाभिश्चमहाबलः ।।।।हनूमान्कदनंचक्रेरक्षसांभीमकर्मणाम् ।
skandhaviṭapaiḥ śālaiḥ śilābhiś ca mahābalaḥ | hanūmān kadanaṃ cakre rakṣasāṃ bhīmakarmaṇām ||
Hanumān, possessed of mighty strength, wrought devastation among the dread-deeded Rākṣasas, crushing them with huge trunks and boughs, with rocks and stones.
Hanuman, who was endowed with great strength, killed Rakshasas capable of terrific tasks with trees having large trunks and branches and stones also.
Power is portrayed as legitimate when used to protect a righteous mission and restrain agents of adharma.
Hanumān counterattacks fiercely, inflicting heavy losses on the Rākṣasa warriors.
Strength joined to devotion and duty—Hanumān’s might serves Rāma’s cause rather than personal glory.
