इन्द्रजित्-हनूमद्-युद्धं तथा निकुम्भिलायां होमः (Indrajit vs Hanuman; Indrajit’s Nikumbhila rite)
स्वसैन्यमभिवीक्ष्याथवानरार्दितमिन्द्रजित् ।।।।प्रगृहीतायुधःक्रुद्धःपरानभिमुखोययौ ।
sva-sainyam abhivīkṣyātha vānarārditaṃ indrajit | pragṛhītāyudhaḥ kruddhaḥ parān abhimukho yayau ||
Seeing his own host harried by the Vānaras, Indrajit, wrathful and weapon in hand, went straight toward the foe.
Indrajith, looking at his own army tormented by the Vanaras, was enraged, and went towards the enemies' seizing weapons.
It highlights the battlefield duty of a commander to respond when his troops are under pressure—though Indrajit’s cause is aligned with adharma.
Indrajit notices his side suffering and personally advances to confront the Vānara forces.
Decisive leadership and readiness—he arms himself and moves to the front (a trait that can exist even in an unrighteous side).
