इन्द्रजितो मायासीतावधः — Indrajit’s Illusory Sita Episode and Hanuman’s Rebuke
सीतांहत्वातु न चिरंजीविष्यसिकथञ्चन ।।।।वधार्हकर्मणानेनममहस्तगतोह्यसि ।
sītāṃ hatvā tu na ciraṃ jīviṣyasi kathañcana | vadhārha-karmaṇānena mama hastagato hy asi ||
If you kill Sītā, you will not live long—by no means. By this deed that merits death, you have truly come into my hands.
"Indeed, you will not live long after killing Sita. You deserve to be killed for your actions, that is why you have come into my hands."
Adharma—killing an innocent woman—invites swift retribution; Dharma frames consequences as morally inevitable.
Hanumān warns Indrajit that harming Sītā will bring immediate downfall and declares him within reach for punishment.
