Struck by Rāma’s arrows, that gold-adorned pike shattered into many pieces and dropped to the ground like a great burning brand breaking apart.
That pike, which was decorated with gold, broke into pieces, and fell down like fire sticks by the many supreme arrows of Rama.
Dharma is the triumph of disciplined righteousness over violent aggression: destructive intent is stopped before it can harm the innocent.
After Rāma cuts the incoming pike, it breaks into fragments and falls harmlessly to the ground.
Composure under threat: Rāma’s steady skill turns danger into harmless debris.
