Shloka 6.76.25

युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः (Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva)

स ललाटेमहावीर्यमङ्गदंवानरर्षभम् ।आजघानमहातेजास्समुहूर्तंचचाल ह ।।।।

sa lalāṭe mahā-vīryam aṅgadaṃ vānararṣabham | ājaghāna mahā-tejāḥ sa-muhūrtaṃ cacāla ha ||

That radiant warrior struck the mighty Angada, bull among the Vānara hosts, on the forehead; and for a brief while Angada reeled, stunned by the blow.

Sonitaksha of extraordinary energy hit at the forehead of highly valiant Angada. For a while Angada was unable to move.

The verse highlights endurance under adversity—remaining within one’s duty even when momentarily shaken.

Śoṇitākṣa lands a direct blow on Angada’s forehead, briefly staggering him in the thick of battle.

For Angada: forbearance and resilience; for the attacker: martial intensity and boldness.
