Shloka 6.76.15

युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः (Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva)

अङ्गदंपरिरक्षन्तौमैन्दोद्विविदएव च ।तस्यतस्थतुरभ्याशेपरस्परदिदृक्ष्या ।।।।

aṅgadaṃ parirakṣantau maindo dvivida eva ca | tasya tasthatur abhyāśe paraspara-didṛkṣyā ||

Mainda and Dvivida stood close by, guarding Aṅgada, and kept watch upon one another as they faced the foe at close quarters.

Both Mainda and Dwivida (maternal uncles of Angada) took position for the protection of one another facing the enemy.

On the battlefield in Laṅkā, Mainda and Dvivida position themselves near Aṅgada, ready to defend him as the fight intensifies.

Loyalty and disciplined vigilance—standing firm, watching the enemy and each other to maintain coordinated defense.
