औषधिपर्वताहरणम् / The Retrieval of the Herb-Bearing Mountain

ततो हरिर् गन्धवहात्मजस् तु तम् ओषधीशैलम् उदग्रवेगः । निनाय वेगाद् हिमवन्तम् एव पुनश् च रामेण समाजगाम ॥

Transliteration

tato harir gandhavahātmajas tu tam oṣadhīśailam udagravegaḥ | nināya vegād himavantam eva punaś ca rāmeṇa samājagāma ||

Translation

Then the Vanara Hanuman, son of the Wind, swiftly carried that mountain of medicinal herbs back to the Himalayas and returned once again to rejoin Rama.

The son of the wind god sprung from there hurriedly took the mountain of herbs to Himalayas and returned and joined Rama.।। ityārṣēvālmīkīyēśrīmadrāmāyaṇēādikāvyēyuddhakāṇḍēcatussaptatitamassargaḥ ।।This is the end of the seventy fourth sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
