औषधिपर्वताहरणम् / The Retrieval of the Herb-Bearing Mountain
वज्रालयंवैश्रवणालयं च सूर्यप्रभंसूर्यनिबन्धनंच । a.ब्रह्मासनंशङ्करकार्मुकं च ददर्शनाभिं च वसुन्धरायाः ।।6.74.60।।
vajrālayaṃ vaiśravaṇālayaṃ ca sūryaprabhaṃ sūryanibandhanaṃ ca | brahmāsanaṃ śaṅkarakārmukaṃ ca dadarśa nābhiṃ ca vasundharāyāḥ || 6.74.60 ||
He saw Vajrālaya, the abode of Vaiśravaṇa (Kubera) shining like the sun, the place where the Sun was bound, the seat of Brahmā, the place of Śaṅkara’s bow, and even the navel of the Earth.
He saw Vajralayam (where Brahma gave Indra the thunderbolt), the abode of Kubera shining like the Sun, the spot where the Sun was bound, Brahma's abode and the abode of the bow of Lord Siva, and the earth navel.
Dharma is framed as alignment with a vast sacred cosmos: righteous action (saving Lakṣmaṇa and the wounded) is supported by knowledge of sacred powers and places, not by ego.
The narration continues describing extraordinary divine-associated locations encountered/seen during Hanumān’s search for the medicinal herbs.
Kartavya-buddhi (duty-mindedness) sustained by reverence: the hero moves through wonders without losing the mission’s purpose.
