As that best of mountains was being crushed—its surface strewn with broken trees and rocks—the vānaras could not keep their footing upon it as it reeled and shook.
As the foremost of the mountain got oppressed it crushed the trees and rocks on it and Vanaras were unable to stand on it.
Dharma recognizes the gravity of collective crisis: the community is destabilized, and hence the urgency of the healer’s mission is morally reinforced.
The mountain shakes under pressure; other vānaras cannot stand steady, highlighting the intensity of Hanumān’s launch.
Mission-first decisiveness—Hanumān’s action proceeds despite upheaval around him.
