Seeing the vast majesty of that body, the vānaras thought, “Kumbhakarṇa has risen again.” Stricken with fear, they all clung to one another for refuge.
Those Vanaras seeing the huge body thought, "This is Kumbhakarna, who has got up and come'. Out of fear, they sought the help of one another.
Dharma includes solidarity under crisis: when fear arises, seeking mutual support can restore steadiness and prevent panic from turning into disorder.
The vānaras, seeing a gigantic figure, mistake it for Kumbhakarṇa and react with collective fear, clustering together.
Saṅgha-bala (strength of unity): resilience through mutual reliance, even when individuals feel overwhelmed.
