कुम्भकर्णवधः
The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
मुष्टिनाशरभंहत्वाजानुनानीलमाहवे ।।।।आजघानगवाक्षंतुलेनेन्द्ररिपुस्तदा ।पादेनाभ्यहनत्कृद्धस्तरसागन्धमादनम् ।।।।
muṣṭinā śarabhaṃ hatvā jānunā nīlam āhave |
ājaghāna gavākṣaṃ talenendraripus tadā |
pādenābhyahanat kruddhas tarasā gandhamādanam ||
Then that foe of Indra, enraged in battle, struck Śarabha with his fist, battered Nīla with his knee, smote Gavākṣa with a slap of his palm, and with a swift kick of his foot drove at Gandhamādana.
Angry Kumbhakarna (enemy of Indra) hit Sarabha with his fist, Neela with his knees hurt Gavaksha and slapped him with his palms. Gandhamadana was kicked with force.
