Transliteration

taṃ dṛṣṭvā rākṣasaśreṣṭhaṃ pradīptānalavarcasam |

visphārayāmāsa tadā kārmukaṃ puruṣarṣabhaḥ ||

Translation

Seeing that foremost of rākṣasas, blazing like fire, Rāma—the bull among men—then drew his bow taut.
