कुम्भकर्णोपदेशः — Kumbhakarna’s Counsel and War-Boast to Ravana

अद्यपश्यमहाबाहो मयासमरमूर्धनि ।हतेरामेसहभ्रात्राद्रवन्तींहरिवाहिनीम् ।।6.63.35।।

adya paśya mahābāho mayā samaramūrdhani | hate rāme sahabhrātrā dravantīṃ harivāhinīm ||

O mighty-armed one, behold today: at the very forefront of battle, once I have slain Rāma along with his brother, the vānaras’ army will flee.

"O mighty armed King! You see Rama along with his brother being killed by me and Vanaras fleeing away from the forefront of war."

Kumbhakarna is the speaker, addressing his brother, the King of Lanka, Ravana.

He predicts that he will kill Rama and his brother Lakshmana, causing the entire army of Vanaras (monkeys) to flee the battlefield in fear.
