Shloka 6.61.38

कुम्भकर्णदर्शनम् — The Appearance of Kumbhakarna and the Account of His Might

ततोगवाक्षश्शरभोहनूमानङ्गदस्तथा ।शैलशृङ्गाणिशैलाभागृहीत्वाद्वारमभ्ययुः ।।6.61.38।।

tato gavākṣaḥ śarabho hanūmān aṅgadas tathā |

śailaśṛṅgāṇi śailāṃś ca gṛhītvā dvāram abhyayuḥ ||6.61.38||

Then Gavākṣa, Śarabha, Hanūmān, and likewise Aṅgada—taking mountain-peaks and boulders—advanced toward the gate.

Then taking mountains, Gavaksha, Sarabha, Hanuman, Angada who looked like mountains themselves marched to the gate.

Dharma is expressed as loyal service to a righteous cause: the leaders take up burdensome tasks and move to defend strategic points for the protection of the whole host.

Key vānara heroes arm themselves with massive natural weapons and proceed to secure/assault a gate of Laṅkā as part of Rāma’s reorganization.

Sevā and courage: readiness to act decisively and bear hardship for the collective good.
