युद्धकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः
Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma
हनूमान् वक्षसिव्यूढेसञ्चचालहतःपुनः ।विह्वलंतुतदादृष्टवाहनूमन्तंमहाबलम् ।।6.59.69।।रथेनातिरथशशीघ्रंनीलंप्रतिसमभ्यगात् ।
hanūmān vakṣasi vyūḍhe sañcacāla hataḥ punaḥ | vihvalaṃ tu tadā dṛṣṭvā hanūmantaṃ mahābalam || 6.59.69 || rathenātirathaḥ śīghraṃ nīlaṃ prati samabhyagāt |
Struck hard upon the chest, Hanumān was hurt again and reeled. Seeing the mighty Hanumān falter, the great charioteer, unnerved, swiftly drove his chariot toward Nīla.
Ravana, the enemy of the king of Devatas, having spoken like that ascended a chariot yoked to the best of horses, shining by virtue of its form (golden) and luminous like fire.
