तस्यच्छिद्राणिमार्गस्वस्वच्छिद्राणिचलक्ष्य ।चक्षुषाधनुषायत्ना प्रक्षात्मानंसमाहितः ।।6.59.50।।
tasyacchidrāṇi mārgasva svacchidrāṇi ca lakṣya | cakṣuṣā dhanuṣā yatnāḥ prakṣātmānaṃ samāhitaḥ ||6.59.50||
Stay vigilant: seek out his openings and note your own. With steady eyes, bow in hand, track the course of his missiles and set your shafts accordingly; guard yourself with full composure.
"Remaining alert, apply your arrows in the direction of his arrows. Looking at his arrows carefully, making an effort to protect yourself, set your bow."
Dharma here is disciplined alertness—self-control and careful action even amid violence, avoiding recklessness and protecting life through mindful effort.
