युद्धकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः
Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma
एवमुक्त्वाततोरामोधनुरादायवीर्यवान् ।लक्ष्मणानुचरस्तस्थौसमुद्धृत्यशरोत्तमम् ।।6.59.32।।
evam uktvā tato rāmo dhanur ādāya vīryavān | lakṣmaṇānucaras tasthau samuddhṛtya śarottamam ||6.59.32||
Having spoken thus, the mighty Rāma took up his bow; with Lakṣmaṇa close behind, he stood ready, raising an excellent arrow.
Indomitable Rama having spoken in that manner, followed by Lakshmana got ready and took out an excellent bow and stood.
Kṣātra-dharma: a righteous leader must be prepared to act decisively to protect dharma and the innocent, not merely speak.
After speaking, Rāma physically readies himself for combat; Lakṣmaṇa remains in loyal attendance as the battle intensifies.
Rāma’s steadfast resolve and disciplined readiness, supported by Lakṣmaṇa’s loyal service.
