Closing in on him, Rāma shattered with well-feathered arrows his wheeled chariot—along with its horses, banner, canopy, and great standard—together with the charioteer and the thunderbolt-like weapons, tridents, and swords.
Advancing towards him, (Ravana), Rama tore into pieces his chariot, wheels, horses, standard and canopy including the charioteer and the darts and swords.
Rāma’s decisive destruction of the enemy’s war-gear is presented as dharma-yuddha conduct: neutralizing adharma-backed power efficiently while keeping the aim fixed on restoring righteous order.
Satya is implicit in Rāma’s unwavering commitment to his vow and purpose—defeating Rāvaṇa to uphold justice—shown here as steady, effective action aligned with that truth.
