रुधिरोक्षितगात्रस्यबभूवपतितंद्विधा ।।6.54.35।।सरोषपरिवृत्ताक्षंशुभंखडगहतंशिरः ।
tatrāyudha-sahasrāṇi tasminn āyodhane bhṛśam |
rākṣasāḥ kapimukhyeṣu pātayāṃ cakrire tadā ||6.54.5||
There, in that fierce battle, the rākṣasas then hurled thousands of weapons at the foremost vānara leaders.
His (Vajradamshtra's) limbs bathed in blood, cut off by sword, eyeballs rolling cleft into two dropped down.
