Shloka 6.52.12

धूम्राक्षवधः (The Slaying of Dhumrākṣa)

ध्वजैर्विमथितैर्भग्नैःखङ्गैश्चविनिपातितैः ।रथैर्विध्वंसितैश्चापिपतितैःरजनीचरैः ।।6.52.12।।

dhvajair vimathitair bhagnaiḥ khaṅgaiś ca vinipātitaiḥ |

rathair vidhvaṃsitaiś cāpi patitaiḥ rajanīcaraiḥ || 6.52.12 ||

With standards shattered, swords striking them down, chariots wrecked, and the night-rangers fallen, the field lay strewn with ruin.

Indeed, the night rangers were killed, their flags were broken. They were crushed, their swords were destroyed with chariots fallen.
