Janaka’s daughter—faultless in limb and dark-eyed—seeing her husband and Lakṣmaṇa stirring in the dust, broke into loud weeping.

Janaka's daughter of beautiful limbs and dark eyes, seeing her husband and Lakshmana, both powerful ones rolling, roared aloud.

Truthful devotion in adversity: Sītā’s response is not performative but sincere, reflecting satya in emotion and dharma as unwavering commitment.

Sītā witnesses Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa down in the dust, apparently near death, and her grief erupts openly.

Sītā’s fidelity and compassion—her heart remains aligned with dharma even when hope seems shattered.
