Then the rākṣasī women took Sītā, overcome by grief for her husband, and made her mount the aerial chariot Puṣpaka.
Then the Rakshasas took the aerial car near Sita who was overcome by her husband's grief.
It emphasizes the cruelty of exploiting another’s grief—an adharma tactic—while dharma upholds protection of the vulnerable rather than coercion.
Sītā is forcibly taken from her place and made to board the Puṣpaka chariot.
Sītā’s loyalty and emotional sincerity (her grief for her husband) are foregrounded.
