युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः (War Omens and the Encirclement of Lanka’s Gates)

ततःप्रासादशिखरंशैलशृङ्गमिवोन्नतम् ।ददर्शराक्षसेन्द्रस्यवालिपुत्रःप्रतापवान् ।।6.41.89।।

tataḥ prāsādaśikharaṃ śailaśṛṅgam ivonnatam |

dadarśa rākṣasendrasya vāliputraḥ pratāpavān ||6.41.89||

Then the mighty son of Vālin beheld the palace-peak of the rākṣasa-king, towering like a mountain summit.

Then as the courageous Vali's son landed on the high peak of the palace which resembled a mountain peak, Ravana stood looking.
