I speak to you for your good: prepare the rites that follow death. Let Laṅkā arrange the final obsequies—your life now rests in my hands.

Having addressed it in well- meaning words, Rama said 'I will do you obsequies as no one will be left in Lanka to do your last rites'.

Even in war, dharma includes truthful warning and clarity of consequence. Rama’s speech combines moral admonition with responsibility: adharma leads to ruin, and the righteous do not conceal the outcome.

Rama, sending a message through Angada, warns Ravana of imminent defeat and speaks of the inevitability of death if Ravana persists.

Satya (truthfulness) and unwavering determination—Rama states consequences plainly without deceit.
