All of them bore tails raised and bristling; all had teeth and nails as weapons. All looked fierce with strange markings upon their bodies, and all wore grim, distorted faces in wrath.

All had their tails lifted unusually, had their nails and teeth sharp as weapons, some had unnatural face, and all of them had distorted eyes (as in fury).

Vānara warriors

Dharma is portrayed as controlled ferocity in service of justice—anger and power are being marshaled toward a righteous objective rather than personal cruelty.

Saṃyama allied with vīrya: strength presented as disciplined readiness, not chaos.
