युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः (War Omens and the Encirclement of Lanka’s Gates)

वानराणांतुषटित्रंशत्कोट्यःप्रख्यातयूथपाः ।निपीड्योपनिविष्टाश्चसुग्रीवोयत्रवानरः ।।6.41.42।।

Transliteration

madhyame ca svayaṃ gulme sugrīvaḥ samatiṣṭhata |

saha sarvair hariśreṣṭhaiḥ suparṇaśvasanopamaiḥ || 6.41.41 ||

Translation

In the central formation Sugrīva himself took his stand, together with all the foremost of the monkeys—swift as Garuḍa and as fast as the wind.
