Shloka 6.41.23

युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः (War Omens and the Encirclement of Lanka’s Gates)

इत्येवंतुवदवनीर्वोलक्ष्मणंलक्ष्मणाग्रजः ।तस्मादवातरच्छीघ्रंपर्वताग्रान्महाबलः ।।6.41.23।।

ity evaṁ tu vadann vīro lakṣmaṇaṁ lakṣmaṇāgrajaḥ | tasmād avātarac chīghraṁ parvatāgrān mahā-balaḥ ||

Having spoken thus to Lakṣmaṇa, the mighty hero—Lakṣmaṇa’s elder brother—quickly descended from the mountain peak.

Mighty hero Rama, (the elder brother of Lakshmana) said to Lakshmana in this manner (as described earlier) and descended from the peak of the mountain without delay.

Dharma as promptness in duty: after counsel and assessment, one moves without delay toward the required action.

After warning Lakṣmaṇa and stating the course of action, Rāma physically moves to rejoin and direct the forces.

Initiative—Rāma transitions immediately from speech to decisive action.
