Standing for a moment and watching him with a fearless heart within, treating that rākṣasa as mere straw, he spoke harsh words.

For a moment he stood looking at the ogre fearlessly in his mind and treating him like straw spoke harsh words.

S
Sugriva
R
Ravana

Sugriva is the speaker, and he is addressing the demon King Ravana after jumping onto the palace terrace.

The term 'tṛṇīkṛtya' means 'treating like straw' or 'regarding as insignificant.' It highlights Sugriva's immense courage and disdain for Ravana's power.
