समुद्रतट-प्रयाणम् तथा वेलावन-निवेशः
March to the Seacoast and Encampment at the Shore
वृक्षेभ्योऽन्ये तु कपयो नदन्तो मधुदर्पिताः ।अन्ये वृक्षान्प्रपद्यन्ते प्रपिबन्त्यपि चापरे ।।।।
vṛkṣebhyo 'nye tu kapayo nadanto madhudarpitāḥ |
anye vṛkṣān prapadyante prapibanty api cāpare ||
Some monkeys, made reckless by the intoxication of honey, roamed about shouting away from the trees; others rushed up into the trees, and still others leapt about, drinking again and again.
While some monkeys that were intoxicated by drinking excessive honey walked where there were no trees, others climbed the tree tops and jumped.
