रत्नौघ जलसन्नादं विषक्तमिव वायुना ।उत्पतन्तमिव क्रुद्धं यादोगणसमाकुलम् ।।6.4.122।।ददृशुस्ते महोत्साह वाताहतजलाशयम् ।अनिलोद्धूतमाकाशे प्रवल्गन्त ममिवोर्मिभिः ।।6.4.123।।
ratnaugha-jalasannādaṃ viṣaktam iva vāyunā |
utpatantam iva kruddhaṃ yādogaṇasamākulam || 6.4.122 ||
dadṛśus te mahotsāhā vātāhatajalāśayam |
aniloddhūtam ākāśe pravalgantam ivormibhiḥ || 6.4.123 ||
The warriors of great ardor beheld the sea lashed by the wind—roaring over depths strewn with gems, thronged with aquatic hosts, and flinging its waves up toward the sky as though in wrath.
