माल्यवानुपदेशः — Malyavan’s Counsel, Portents in Laṅkā, and the Proposal of Alliance
पाण्डुरारक्तपादाश्चविहङ्गाःकालचोदिताः ।राक्षसानांविनाशायकपोताविचरन्तिच ।।।।
pāṇḍurā raktapādāś ca vihaṅgāḥ kālacoditāḥ | rākṣasānāṃ vināśāya kapotā vicaranti ca ||
White doves with red feet, driven by Time itself, roam about—foretelling the destruction of the Rākṣasas.
"The white and red-footed doves are moving about impelled by time spirit boding destruction of Rakshasas."
Dharma teaches humility before kāla (time): when wrongdoing ripens, consequences arrive; wisdom lies in timely repentance and right action.
A specific bird-omen is cited as a clear sign that the Rākṣasa side is nearing downfall.
Timeliness (kāla-jñāna): acting rightly before consequences become irreversible.
