सीताविलापः (Sītā’s Lament over the Illusory Head and Bow)
शीघ्रंभेरीनिनादेनस्फुटंकोणाहतेनमे ।समानयध्वंसैन्यानिवक्तव्यंचनकारणम् ।।6.32.43।।
tatas tatheti pratigṛhya tad-vaco balādhipās te mahad-ātmano balam | samānayaṃś caiva samāgamaṃ ca te nyavedayan bhartari yuddha-kāṅkṣiṇi ||6.32.44||
Then the commanders, accepting his words with “So be it,” assembled the great host and reported the gathering to their lord, who longed for battle.
"Break forth by beating the drums with powerful drumsticks calling the army to assemble without telling the reason."
The verse illustrates duty within ranks: subordinates execute lawful orders promptly and report completion. Dharma in organized society includes faithful discharge of one’s assigned role—though the larger moral evaluation depends on the justice of the war itself.
Rāvaṇa’s commanders acknowledge his command, gather the forces, and notify him that the army has assembled for battle.
