Here is Nala, the heroic son of Viśvakarman, the best of the monkeys; and here too is Durdhara—valiant and strong—the son of Vasu, hard to withstand.

Dharma supported by capable agents: righteous ends require competent, courageous allies; listing them emphasizes preparedness in service of justice.

Śārdūla continues identifying prominent warriors in the opposing camp, highlighting Nala and Durdhara.

Heroic competence—valor and strength—as instruments when aligned with a dharmic cause.
