शरणागति-धर्मनिर्णयः (Decision on Refuge and Dharma) / Rama’s Vow of Protection and the Acceptance of Vibhishana
ममापितुविवक्षाऽस्तिकाचित्प्रतिविभीषणम् ।श्रोतुमिच्छामितत्सर्वंभवद्भिश्श्रेयसिस्थितैः ।।।।
mamāpi tu vivakṣāsti kācit prati vibhīṣaṇam | śrotumicchāmi tatsarvaṃ bhavadbhiḥ śreyasi sthitaiḥ ||
I too wish to speak a few words concerning Vibhīṣaṇa. I ask that all of you, steadfast in seeking my welfare, listen to it in full.
"Even I desire to speak a few words about Vibheeshana. I wish you, who are my well wishers and devoted to me, also hear me."
Lord Rama is the speaker, addressing his allies, specifically Sugriva and the Vanara chiefs, whom he acknowledges as his well-wishers.
It means 'those established in my welfare.' Rama acknowledges that although his allies (the Vanaras) initially advised against accepting Vibhishana, their counsel was born out of concern for Rama's safety, not malice.
