“Tell him also of my approach to the Ocean and how the Ocean revealed himself; how the bridge was caused to be built; and how Ravana was slain.”
" Also, about my going near ocean and his (Ocean god) appearance before me, construction of the bridge killing of Ravana."
Truthful reporting (satya) and accountability: Rāma wants Bharata to hear an accurate narrative of actions taken for dharma—seeking lawful passage, building a bridge for the common good, and ending tyranny.
Rāma is preparing Hanumān to meet Bharata first and convey key events of the campaign—ocean episode, bridge-building, and Rāvaṇa’s death.
Rāma’s transparency and duty-bound leadership: he frames victory as a sequence of purposeful, dharmic acts rather than mere conquest.
