पुष्पकविमानयात्रा—सेतुबन्धादि-दर्शनम् (Pushpaka Aerial Journey and Survey of Sacred Landmarks)
तारयाचाभ्यनुज्ञातास्सर्वावानरयोषितः ।नेपथ्यविधिपूर्वंतुकृत्वाचापिप्रदक्षिणम् ।।।।अध्यारोहन्विमानंतत्सीतादर्शनकाङ्क्षया ।
tārayā cābhyanujñātāḥ sarvā vānarayoṣitaḥ |
nepathyavidhipūrvaṃ tu kṛtvā cāpi pradakṣiṇam ||
adhyārohan vimānaṃ tat sītādarśanakāṅkṣayā ||
With Tārā’s permission, all the wives of the Vānara chiefs, having adorned themselves according to custom and having circumambulated that aerial chariot in pradakṣiṇa, then boarded it—eager to behold Sītā.
Duly permitted, all Vanaras wives and Tara also decorated themselves according to tradition, went around the Pushpaka and looked forward to seeing Sita.
Pradakṣiṇā expresses reverence and auspicious conduct—acting with maryādā (proper decorum) before undertaking an important action, aligning desire (to see Sītā) with respectful, dharmic procedure.
Their eagerness to see Sītā follows the truth of events—Sītā has been recovered and honored—so the act becomes a truthful, communal witnessing of satya established by Rāma’s victory and righteous conduct.
