अग्निपरीक्षासाक्ष्यं (Agni’s Testimony and Sītā’s Revalidation)
नविधूयाथचितांतांतुवैदेहींहव्यवाहनः ।उत्तस्थौमूर्तिमानाशुगृहीत्वाजनकात्मजाम् ।।।।
neyam arhati caiśvaryaṁ rāvaṇāntaḥpure śubhā |
ananyā hi mayā sītā bhāskareṇa prabhā yathā ||
Auspicious Sītā would not care for any splendor in Rāvaṇa’s inner palace; she is inseparable from me, as radiance is from the sun.
Then the fire god taking human form emerged from the fire immediately,with Janaka's daughter shaking off the fire sticks.
Dharma in marriage is framed as steadfast exclusivity and loyalty; Sītā’s integrity is portrayed as inherent and unwavering despite external temptations.
Rāma argues that Sītā could not be enticed by Rāvaṇa’s palace-luxury and remained bound to him alone.
Sītā’s unwavering fidelity (ananyatā) and incorruptibility.
