“Tell Vaidehī that I am well, together with Lakṣmaṇa, and that Sugrīva too is well; and, O best of speakers, tell her also that Rāvaṇa has been slain in battle.”

"Convey to Vaidehi that me and Lakshman and also Sugriva are doing well, and that Ravana has been killed, O Best among the eloquent."

Satya (truth) as dharma: Rama ensures Sita receives accurate, reassuring news—well-being of allies and the truthful fact of Ravana’s defeat—ending uncertainty and fear.

Rama instructs Hanuman on the exact content of the message to deliver to Sita after the victory.

Rama’s compassion and responsibility in communication; Hanuman’s reliability as a truthful messenger.
