विभीषणाभिषेकः (Vibhīṣaṇa’s Consecration) and Hanumān’s Commission to Sītā
सःतान् गृहीत्वादुर्धर्षोराघवायन्यवेदयत् ।।।।माङ्गल्यंमङ्गलंसर्वंलक्ष्मणाय च वीर्यवान् ।
saḥ tān gṛhītvā durdharṣo rāghavāya nyavedayat |
māṅgalyaṃ maṅgalaṃ sarvaṃ lakṣmaṇāya ca vīryavān ||6.115.21||
Having received them, the valiant and unassailable one presented all those auspicious, benedictory offerings to Śrī Rāma—and also to Lakṣmaṇa.
Valiant Vibheeshana, who is difficult to encounter, presented the benign offerings and auspicious ones received by him to Rama and Lakshmana.
Dharma is expressed as loyal service and rightful submission to a just protector—Vibhishana channels public goodwill toward Rama and Lakshmana, acknowledging their righteous victory.
The citizens’ offerings are received and formally presented by Vibhishana to Rama and Lakshmana in the aftermath of the war.
Vibhishana’s humility and devotion: he acts as a righteous intermediary, honoring Rama and ensuring proper, respectful protocol.
