Having witnessed Rāvaṇa’s slaying, the Devas, Gandharvas, and Dānavas departed in their respective vimānas, speaking among themselves auspicious accounts of that event.
In the meantime, Devas, Gandharvas, Danavas speaking to each other an auspicious story of Ravana's destruction went in their respective aerial cars.
The cosmic community’s departure after Rāvaṇa’s fall signals restoration of moral order: adharma’s defeat becomes an ‘auspicious account’ because it re-establishes dharma in the world.
After the climactic victory, celestial beings who witnessed the battle return to their realms, marking a transition to the next events in Laṅkā.
Not a single character’s virtue, but the theme that dharma’s triumph is celebrated and remembered as a worthy narrative (śubhā kathā).
