रावणवधः — The Slaying of Ravana (Brahmāstra Discharge)
विसृजास्मैवधायत्वमस्त्रंपैतामहंप्रभो ।विनाशकालःकथितोःयःसुरैःसोऽद्यवर्तते ।।।।
visṛjāsmāi vadhāya tvam astraṁ paitāmahaṁ prabho |
vināśa-kālaḥ kathito yaḥ suraiḥ so ’dya vartate ||
O Lord, release upon him—so that he may be slain—the Paitāmaha weapon. The time of destruction foretold by the gods has now arrived.
"O king! As spoken by Suras, the destruction of Ravana has come now. Use the missile of the creator Brahma."
Dharma here is truth-aligned counsel (satya-yukta upadeśa): the advisor urges decisive action only when the rightful, divinely indicated moment has come—violence is framed as necessary and time-bound.
An ally counsels Rāma to deploy Brahmā’s powerful missile at the destined moment for Rāvaṇa’s fall.
