रावण–रामयुद्धप्रारम्भः
The Intensification of the Rama–Ravana Duel
tataḥ tad astraṃ vinihatya rāghavaḥ parasahya tad rāvaṇabāhuniḥsṛtam |
mudānavito dāśarathir mahātmā vineudur uccai ramuditāḥ kapīśvarāḥ ||6.100.51||
Then Rāghava, the great-souled Dāśarathi, having countered the missiles released from Rāvaṇa’s arms, was filled with joy and stood victorious; and the delighted lords of the monkeys cried aloud.
As the Taamasa missile had been built and bestowed by Brahma, the monkeys were unable to bear and by their running dust had risen.
Dharma prevails through disciplined resistance to evil: the righteous protect others by skillfully neutralizing harm rather than succumbing to fear.
Rāma nullifies Rāvaṇa’s missile barrage; the vānara chiefs rejoice and proclaim the moment with loud cries.
Rāma’s composed strength and competence (steadiness in action), inspiring truthful confidence (satya-based trust) among allies.
