पुष्पकविमानदर्शनम् (Vision of the Pushpaka Aerial Chariot)

That vimāna, fashioned by Viśvakarman himself as a flawless achievement, with workmanship beyond measure and beyond imitation, seemed to have risen into the sky and taken its station upon the path of the winds, shining like a radiant sign upon the Sun’s course.

The immeasurable Pushpaka fashioned by Visvakarma with images of incomparablebeauty was not possible to describe. An excellent product of his achievement, it was placed in the aerial path appearing as a beacon-light (sign-post) in the orbit of the Sun.

The verse implies that true excellence (sādhutā) is real, yet Dharma depends on how power and marvels are used. In the Ramayana frame, wonders like the Pushpaka gain moral meaning only when aligned with satya and righteous purpose.

Hanumān identifies the extraordinary vimāna as a Viśvakarman-made marvel, shining in the sky-path like a beacon in the Sun’s orbit.

Jñāna-yukta vigilance: Hanumān’s informed recognition and careful assessment aid his mission and future reporting to Rāma.
