सीताया यशोधर्मविचारः — Sita’s Counsel on Honor, Rescue-Strategy, and Hanuman’s Reassurance
यदि वा मन्यसे वीर वसैकाहमरिन्दम।कस्मिंश्चित्संवृते देशे विक्रान्तश्श्वो गमिष्यसि।।।।
ayaṁ ca vīra sandehas tiṣṭhatīva mamāgrataḥ |
sumahāṁs tvatsahāyeṣu haryṛkṣeṣu harīśvara ||
And, O hero—O lord among monkeys—this great doubt stands before me: concerning your allies, the monkeys and the bears.
'O crusher of enemies! O brave Hanuman! I wish you rest for a while in a secluded place around here and leave tomorrow .
Dharma includes prudent concern: Sītā does not indulge in blind optimism; she voices a reasonable doubt about feasibility, seeking truthful assurance.
Sītā worries whether the larger vānara-and-bear host can accomplish the difficult task of reaching Laṅkā.
Practical wisdom (viveka) alongside hope.
