सीताया यशोधर्मविचारः — Sita’s Counsel on Honor, Rescue-Strategy, and Hanuman’s Reassurance
तदस्मिन् कार्यनिर्योगे वीरैवं दुरतिक्रमे।किं पश्यसि समाधानं ब्रूहि कार्यविदां वरः।।।।
tad asmin kāryaniryoge vīra evaṃ duratikrame | kiṃ paśyasi samādhānaṃ brūhi kāryavidāṃ varaḥ ||
So then, O hero—when this undertaking is thus hard to surmount—what practical resolution do you see? Tell me, for you are foremost among those skilled in accomplishing tasks.
'O heroic Hanuman! you know how to succeed. But I wish to know what expedient you have to accomplish which is difficult by all means. O foremost vanara, please tell me .
Dharma includes wise deliberation (nīti): even in distress, one should seek a righteous, workable means rather than act rashly.
Sītā questions Hanumān about the best expedient to accomplish the difficult mission of rescue and restoration.
Sītā’s discernment and strategic prudence—she values competent, dharmic means to achieve a just end.
