सीतावृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् / Report of Sītā’s Condition and Tokens of Recognition
एष निर्यातितश्श्रीमान्मया ते वारि सम्भवः।एतं दृष्ट्वा प्रहृष्यामि व्यसने त्वामिवानघ।।।।
eṣa niryātitaḥ śrīmān mayā te vāri-sambhavaḥ |
etaṃ dṛṣṭvā prahṛṣyāmi vyasane tvām ivānagha ||
This splendid jewel, born of the ocean, I have sent to you. In my distress, when I behold it, I rejoice—as though I were seeing you yourself, O blameless one.
'O sinless one! tell Rama that this auspicious Chudamani born in the ocean is sent to him and I was gazing at it as if it was him (Rama) and feeling happy.
Dharma of fidelity: Sita maintains unwavering loyalty and pure intention, using the token to sustain truthful connection rather than despair.
Sita explains the emotional significance of the jewel she sends to Rama as proof and comfort.
Hope joined to devotion: even in suffering, Sita finds strength through remembrance aligned with truth.
